The 5 Senses – One to Love

Share now:

I don’t know about you, but I want my friends and family to feel comfortable when they come into my house.  I want them to feel like they can come over any time, without calling, for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.  Or to feel like they can drop by for dinner un-announced.  I want them to feel like they can come “home” at my house anytime.  To accomplish this, I think it takes the 5 senses.

  • Sight.  Does your home look how you want it to look?  Is it inviting?  Is it organized?
  • Feel.  Does your home have texture you can’t miss?  Soft.  Cozy. Warm.
  • Sound.  How does your home a sound?  Joyful.  Calm.  Quiet.  Laughter.
  • Taste.  Does your home have the tastes of the season?  Is there something baking in the oven or brewing on the stove? Or even just a pack of store-bought cookies in the cupboard.
  • Smell.  Does your home have a fresh clean and inviting smell? Have a favorite fragrance?

Well, thanks to my friend Joelle, who is a Pink Zebra Consultant, I can help with the smell part.  Pink Zebra is another Direct Sales Company I’m a big fan of.  They are committed to an eco-friendly approach in fragrancing, using soft soy waxes.  And all Pink Zebra’s wax Sprinkles, Lotions and Soaks are manufactured in the USA.  They have everything from warmers to diffusers.  From Soaps to Sanitizers, and everything in between.

Wax and Warmers

Pink Zebra uses a combination of their Wax Sprinkles and their Light or Pot Warmers, which helps with the 5 senses… sight, smell and feel.  The Wax Sprinkles almost look like mini chocolate chips, and because they are small pellets unlike other scent waxes, they can easily be mixed to create your own favorite scent combination.  On Pink Zebra’s website, they even provide inspirational recipes of wax mixtures of some favorite scents.  Being able to create a personal scent that is unique to your home makes it fun too.

I love the wide variety of warmers Pink Zebra offers.  There is something for everyone and every décor style.  There are fun décor warmers for any season and any reason, as well as year-round warmers that add elegance and whimsy to your home décor.  My current favorite is the Candleglow Simmering Light with the Wood Grain Base, as it has a simple design and fits any décor style, in any home.

Diffusers and Soaks – Aid the 5 Senses

Now, if you are someone who likes simpler and more versatile ways of adding fragrance to your home, Pink Zebra offers reed diffusers and Soaks.  The Soaks, which are incredibly versatile, can be used in so many different ways.  Use them in traditional reed diffusers.  Splash them on your kids’ stuffed animals to freshen them up.  Use it as a personal body spray.  You can use it with the wall hug, Pink Zebra’s wall warmer.  Or because the Soaks are non-toxic, you can even spray it on your pets to get rid of that wet-dog smell!  This stuff is AMAZING!!!

When you purchase the Snoberry Soak, which is one of their Hero Products, 10% supports Single Moms with childcare.

Soaps, Sanitizers and Disinfecting Sprays- One more way to add scent for the 5 senses

Lastly, Pink Zebra offers an array of hand soaps, hand sanitizers and disinfecting sprays for your home.  Choose from scents such as Blueberry Lavender, Farm House Cider, or Holiday Home, my personal favorite.  Holiday Home smells like a mixture of Woody Pine, Sandalwood Vanilla, and Warm Cinnamon, so it is perfect for the holiday season.

If you are new to Pink Zebra, I highly recommend that you check them out.  Their products make great holidays gifts.  There is something for everyone in their product line, and I know Joelle will be happy to help you out if you have questions!

Here’s to adding fragrance to your home and RESETTING your life!
