As the saying goes, the kitchen is the heart of any home. Yet it has more individual items than any other room in the house. Think about it. 8 dinner plates. 8 dessert plates. 8 bowls. 8 glasses. 8 cups. That’s already 40 items, not even counting the utensils, the pots and pans, the bakeware, the appliances or the plasticware in the cupboards. Because the kitchen contains so many individual items, it can be one of the most difficult spaces to keep organized. Finding a plasticware storage solution can be a real challenge in any kitchen.

For plasticware in our house, I have a bin in the laundry room that I keep the containers and lids I use for freezing food from the garden. In the kitchen however, I have the cabinet where I keep the day-to-day plasticware that we use for leftovers and refrigerator storage of fruits, veggies, etc. It seems that no two containers are the same… Tupperware, Rubbermaid, GoodCook, or something entirely different. And for every container there is a lid. But how do you store all those lids?

My friend, Lynette, who is a Tupperware Consultant, recently shared with me The Place for Seals. It’s a plasticware storage solution for container lids of all types, regardless of the brand. I hadn’t seen this tool before, even though my mom was a Tupperware Consultant when I was a kid. I love the Place for Seals. It has such a simple design, yet is so effective!

The perfect Plasticware Storage Solution
Prior to having the Place for Seals, I kept my lids in a larger Tupperware container (see above). This solution worked okay, but not great. I didn’t realize the way I was storing my lids actually took up a lot of space, until I got the Place for Seals. This tool freed up a lot of space in our cabinet. It actually made it so much easier for Russell to reach both lids and containers in the kitchen.
Russell has had more than a dozen back surgeries and procedures and can’t bend over well. So, by using the Place for Seals, I was able to rearrange the cabinet so he wouldn’t need to bend over as deeply to reach for both containers and their accompaning lids. It was definitely a side bonus I hadn’t expected when Lynette gave me the Place for Seals.

The Place for Seals can be mounted on the wall or inside a cabinet door (if space allows) for added organizational space. It really is a basic organizational tool that any kitchen can benefit from. Who doesn’t have a ton of plasticware lids in their kitchen?

You can check out the Place for Seals and all the other great products Tupperware has to offer on Lynette’s site.
I hope you’ll be able to organize your kitchen with this plasticware storge solution for your lids. This is a One to Love product from Tupperware and my friend Lynette.
Here’s to organizing your plasticware lids and RESETTING your life!
