Whether you call it a Dutch Baby, a German Pancake, a Bismark, a Dutch Puff, an Oven Pancake, or a Hootenanny (I love that one!), everyone can agree this is delicious and an easy brunch idea for the holidays because it is so simple to make.

Ingredients
3 egg whites
2 whole eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
2 TBSP sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
½ tsp salt
1 TBSP melted butter

Directions for making an Oven Pancake
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Melt butter in a 12” cast iron pan.
Blend all ingredients until smooth.
Pour batter into pan and bake for 25 minutes. The cake will puff up during baking, but will deflate shortly after coming out of the oven.
Top with berries or sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, or powdered sugar.

This is a true favorite in our house for holiday brunches and one I am happy to make any time of year. Easy to make and easy clean up.
