The Home Edit Labels for the Refrigerator
Labeling is an important piece of decluttering and organizing any where in your home. I love to label things around my home. If I could put a label on Major (Russell’s Service Dog) I probably would, but I don’t think he would like it very much, and as of writing this post, there were no Home Edit Labels for dogs.

Labeling bins, baskets, drawers, etc. is important, because it lets you know what goes where and takes the problem solving out of needing to make decisions regarding where to put things as you bring new items into your home. If it doesn’t belong there… Don’t put it there! That includes in the kitchen and especially the refrigerator.
Mrs. Doubtfire and Labeling
Do you remember the scene in Mrs. Doubtfire (one of my favorite movies ever, BTW.) when Mrs. Doubtfire (Robin Williams) is in the kitchen with Miranda (Sally Field) and all her cabinets are nicely labeled? I love it! That scene has always stuck in my mind. It would be my dream to do that in my kitchen. (I don’t though because Russell would probably kill me if I did!)
Anyway, one thing to love this week is these Fridge Labels from the Home Edit. They are perfect for helping you to organize spaces you wouldn’t normally think need to be organized. However trust me, your fridge is one of the MOST IMPORTANT places to organize, because it is where a lot of waste is created. Think about all those bags of salad mix you’ve thrown away over the years, because they’ve gotten pushed to the back and you find them well past their point of being edible. (I rest my case.)

My Fridge and the Home Edit Labels
Just by labeling the various stations in your fridge, you and your other family members will know where to look for something. They will know where to put something back. Plus, these labels will help you save money when you grocery shop. By grouping like items in your fridge, you can see what you have (no over buying here) and what you don’t have (Oops, it’s not on the list.).

I’ve had these labels in our fridge for a few months now, and I love them. The clear label, with the fabulous font makes even your fridge a pleasure to look at when searching for a midnight snack. That is why these labels are One to Love this week.

Here’s to resetting your home, your refrigerator, and your life!
