Garlic Peeler – 1 to Love

Share now:

I love the taste of garlic, but I hate the hassle of peeling the individual cloves.  I hate the smell of garlic on my fingers, and I don’t like the way my fingers get sticky from peeling those cloves.  That’s why, for the longest time, I bought that pre-minced garlic that comes in a squeeze bottle.  You know the one I am talking about.  You find it in the produce section.  The one that seems to have a never-ending shelf life and yet, has no real garlic flavor.  Am I right?  Not anymore though, I have a Garlic Peeler from Pampered Chef and it is the simplest gadget I have ever owned!

The Garlic Peeler comes in a 2-piece set with the Garlic Slicer, which to be honest, I don’t think I have ever used, but the Peeler…  That’s something else!  I probably use it 2-3 times a week, or more, depending what’s on the menu.  It truly is One to Love!

To use the Garlic Peeler:

Simply remove the needed cloves of garlic from the bulb.  Place the clove(s) inside the tube and roll it with your palm over a hard surface, like your kitchen counter.  The peel comes off and you are left with a clean clove of garlic, ready to be sliced in the accompanying Garlic Slicer, or minced in the Garlic Press.  (I use my Garlic Press from Pampered Chef all the time too.  I prefer minced garlic to sliced garlic.)  It really is that simple!  So efficient!  Seriously.

See how simple it is to use!

Not only have I used my Garlic Peeler to remove the skin from garlic cloves, but I have also used it to remove the skin from toasted hazelnuts and roasted garbanzo beans (chickpeas).  It is not a one-hit-wonder like so many other gadgets in the kitchen.  (This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine.  If something is going to take up space in my kitchen, it better function in more than one way, or it is a no-go.)

An Amazing Kitchen Tool

I love too that I can toss it into the dishwasher with no problems.  I simply put the Garlic Peeler in with my silverware, and it comes out clean and ready to go the next time I need some garlic for dinner.

So, if you are tired of purchasing that tasteless garlic in the bottle and are looking for an easier way of removing Garlic Skin, then the Garlic Peeler from Pampered Chef is a must have tool and One to Love!

Here’s to resetting how you peel garlic, and your life!
